The List
Welcome to the third iteration of my style-focused series called ‘Styled Through The Season.’ Each iteration revolves around a capsule of 30 items from my wardrobe curated for the season. The idea is to share my evolving style journey by creatively styling items that I already own for a seasonal capsule rather than buying new and following trends.
With it not being cold enough to layer through most of the year, I have been particularly excited about putting together this iteration and working with layers. Picking the layers is where I started. The first item was my favorite shacket from Doodlage. Next, I added a few other layers such as a puffy jacket for early morning walks and bike rides and my trusted sweatshirt from Reebok for lounging at home. Next, I picked a few accessories to help through the colder days including a wool shawl and hand gloves.
The goal with the rest of the capsule was to pick items made with heavier materials. I went for tees made from heavier cotton and added my tried and tested 501s (including a thrifted one picked up during travel). I also added a few full-sleeved pieces (including one of my favorite graphic tees from Esprit) for times when it’s cold but not enough to layer.
Here’s the final list of items in my winter capsule for 2022:

The Looks
Here are some initial looks I have put together using items from the capsule.
P.S. - A reminder that this is a live post and I will keep updating it with more looks as the season progresses.
So effortlessly chic - great 'fits! I admit I'm a bit jealous as here in the UK it's been freezing and we're all scared to use the heating too much as its so expensive. Leggings under heavy jeans have been an absolute must, that's for sure!
